Why This Site Exists

Specialized information exists, but it is scattered among retailers, community websites, discussion forums, and general publications. The goal of The Manufactured Home Project is to organize that information around the questions current owners actually face.
Experience Behind the Project
The site owner has decades of firsthand experience owning and maintaining a double-wide manufactured home while renting the lot beneath it. That experience includes the ordinary realities of upkeep, park rules, repair decisions, product compatibility, and deciding when a job requires professional help.
A practical contributor to the project is a friend of approximately 45 years who owns a mobile-home park, has an electrical engineering degree, and is a highly hands-on tinkerer. His perspective can help identify recurring failures, common fit problems, and the difference between a durable repair and a short-term patch.
